Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Teacher Bob Math Academy
Teacher Bob Math Academy provides self-paced math curriculum and asynchronous educational support. By using this website or enrolling in any course, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Site Usage
All content on this site is intended for informational and educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any materials without written permission. Use of this site does not create a student–teacher relationship and does not guarantee academic outcomes.
2. External Platforms
Some courses and services may be hosted on third-party platforms such as Outschool. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or technical performance. Please review their terms and privacy policies before enrolling or sharing personal information.
3. Educational Classification
Teacher Bob Math Academy is a curriculum provider, not a school. We do not offer live instruction, live tutoring, or real-time classes. All support is asynchronous. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their child’s learning and determining whether a course is appropriate for their educational needs.
4. Educational Boundaries
Our materials support math learning from Grade 6 through Precalculus, including test-prep and catch-up programs. They are not a substitute for professional tutoring, diagnostic services, or individualized instruction unless explicitly stated.
5. State Scholarship Programs (AZ ESA & FL Step Up / PEP / UA)
Program Eligibility: Program eligibility and funding allowances are determined entirely by each state's respective rules (Arizona Department of Education and Florida Step Up for Students). Parents and guardians are solely responsible for verifying that purchases satisfy their specific scholarship guidelines.
Strict Refund Restrictions: In compliance with state account protocols, any courses or curricula purchased using state-funded debit cards, ClassWallet accounts, or the Florida EMA marketplace are completely non-refundable to the individual parent or guardian.
Fund Restitution: If a transaction must be canceled, no cash, check, credit card, or digital payment refund will ever be issued directly to a parent's personal account. All returned funds must be issued directly back to the originating state program account, ClassWallet system, or Step Up for Students/EMA platform, subject to state audit guidelines.
Florida EMA Marketplace & Direct Purchasing: For Florida scholarship programs (including PEP and Unique Abilities), purchases made directly through the EMA marketplace or submitted via itemized receipt for direct reimbursement are final upon approval by Step Up for Students. Teacher Bob Math Academy provides all necessary itemized documentation to satisfy Florida audit criteria, but cannot guarantee state approval.
6. Limitation of Liability
All resources are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Teacher Bob Math Academy is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this site or its content. You assume full responsibility for how you apply the information provided.
7. Privacy
We collect only the information necessary to deliver course access and support. We do not collect medical, diagnostic, or sensitive personal data.
8. Compliance & Updates
This disclaimer is intended to comply with applicable laws and educational standards. We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the site indicates acceptance of the most current version.
9. Accuracy, Support Windows, Operational Contingencies, and Limitation of Liability
Curriculum Errata & Revisions: Teacher Bob Math Academy strives for mathematical precision across all instructional video lessons, guided worksheets, and answer keys. However, occasional human errors, spoken slips, or typographical misprints may occur. The presence of an accidental error in any course material does not constitute a breach of service or entitle users to refunds. We will review and correct verified errata upon notification to info@teacherbobmath.com.
Staff and Teacher Communications: As the academy grows, educational support, grading, and asynchronous communication may be provided by additional certified teachers, assistants, or independent contractors under the operation of Teacher Bob Math Academy. All stipulations, accuracy limitations, and liability disclaimers outlined in these Terms apply equally to all actions, communications, and instructional materials provided by any staff member, contractor, or representative of the business.
Timeliness and Scope of Support: Asynchronous teacher support is provided to clarify concepts presented within our existing curriculum. While our team makes every reasonable effort to reply to questions in a timely manner, response turnaround times may fluctuate based on inquiry volume, staff availability, or holidays. No specific response window is guaranteed, and support delays do not qualify for account credits or enrollment cancellations.
Operational and Platform Contingencies: Teacher Bob Math Academy relies on third-party hosting, learning management platforms, email delivery systems, and external computational tools (including but not limited to Wolfram|Alpha). We accept no liability for temporary platform downtime, server interruptions, or technical software processing glitches that affect the delivery or operation of our courses.
Comprehensive Limitation of Liability: All curriculum materials, video content, staff communications, and website operations are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teacher Bob Math Academy, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be held legally or financially liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from curriculum misprints, staff errors, support turnaround times, or operational service interruptions.
